How to Delete Cookies
There is more then one way to delete cookies, it’s important you know the different methods involved or else you won’t have fully deleted them.
You can first go to the text cookie folder and delete them all in there. When you delete these files from the cookie folder you don’t completely get them off of your computer to do this you will need to find the index.dat file, which can be found sometimes in the cookie folder itself. You can’t delete this though you will need to buy a software program capable of shredding the content in the index.dat file.
You can check our list of recommned tools. These specialized programs can be found on the internet, and they are very useful for deleting content on your computer that makes your privacy unsecured.
There is a way in your internet browser to turn off cookie support, but most websites nowadays need cookies to run properly. Once you delete your cookies you’re auto log-ins will be gone and you will have to type in you’re username and passwords again. You may also seem suspicious to other people on the internet because you’re cookie file is always empty, some sites won’t even allow you to access their websites.
The choice you have to make will be between having a web browser that is convenient to use, and having a web browser that is a pain in the back to use but offers privacy. If you want to invest a bit of money you can purchase programs that with allow you to continue with easy browsing and have privacy, they do this by deleting cookies that aren’t used by forbidden sites.
