How to Delete Browsing History from Internet Explorer
Alright, so you decided that two a.m. was a good time to go on a virtual panty raid. Well, turns out that your computer needs to go into Best Buy for some repairs to the USB ports! OY COMO VA! Well, here are some simple steps that will help you get rid of those nasty sites that you might or might not of visited. This method will work for any Internet Explorer 7.0 and newer.
Click on the gold star in the upper left hand side of your browser. Then click the History button. Clicking on the History button will give you the list of all the sites visited on your computer over time, but we should only be interested in what you visited today. Right click on the file listed as “Today” and click delete.
Now, to finish the job. Go up to your Internet options tab, which is not located in the most convent place in IE 7. Go to menu Tools and then Internet Options. Click the Delete button under Browsing history.
Click on Delete Files under Temporary Internet Files. This is the location where Internet Explorer keeps all the movies you just streamed over your computer. Finally, click on Delete cookies under the Cookies section. Then close all IE windows and reopen IE. You will have erased your tracks. Clear the last played cache from your movie viewer as well though, just plays something non X rated and then close it out.
This way no one will discover a little video surprise. Also, don’t click the Delete all files button in the Internet options area, this will get rid of all the typed in values for Internet Explorer and may cause questions from inquiring family members. Good luck in all your exploits and always remain tech savvy!
